Sometimes an item isn't associated with a series, but you want it to be. This is easy to fix.

From within the item, click on the SERIES tab. From here, you can either add the item to an existing series or create a new series for it.

To add it to an existing series click the MOVE TO EXISTING SERIES button and search for the series you want to add the item to.

To create a totally new series for this item, click CREATE NEW SERIES and fill in the fields. 

  • For issues, we recommend using the first 12 digits of the A cover barcode as your series code. This will help CSA guess future series codes.
  • For books (HCs, TPs, etc), we recommend using the first 13 digits from the ISBN from Volume 1. Book barcodes don't carry enough data to correlate with subsequent issues automatically, but that volume 1 pattern should prevent you from duplicating your series codes in the future.
