Review the items on your invoice
CONFIRM BARCODE, QTY RECEIVED AND DAMAGES
There are two preferred ways to check items in.
FAST CHECK-IN (DEFAULT)
This is Django's favorite way to check in.
- On the right hand side of your screen, just above the invoice line items, make sure your check-in mode drop menu is set to FAST CHECK-IN MODE.
- Now, when you scan your barcode into the search field, CSA will assume that you received the correct quantity of items and have no damages. If you are using Chrome, it will also select the text in the search field, so you can just scan the next item without having to type anything.
- You may stop and change the REC or DMG quantity if you want.
- This method works best if you've already counted your overs, shortages and damages, and know where to slow down and make changes.
CLASSIC CHECK IN MODE
- From within the search field on an invoice, scan your item's barcode or type in a search.
- If there is one single result, your cursor should automatically jump to the REC quanity field for that item. You can enter the quantity you received here.
- From the REC field, press tab to jump to the DMG field where you can enter a damaged quantity. Damaged items will not be checked into inventory or pulled for contacts.
- Press tab again to jump to the search field again, where you can scan to search your next item.
REVIEW OVERAGES, SHORTAGES AND DAMAGES
- Click the circle arrow icon to the right of the invoice's title to refresh the invoice.
- Scroll to the bottom of your invoice to see a report of everything that's over, short or damaged. You can send this report to your distributor or just use it to discover that you missed checking in something.
TIP: You can group multiple invoices together for one big, combined check-in from the bottom of the INVOICES page.
