So you're moving your shop over to Comic Shop Assistant from Shopify. That's Awesome. We need a couple of files in order to merge your items and inventory levels with our base catalog of about 350,000 items.

 

Please take a look at this list of what we can and can't import from Shopify so you know what to expect.

 

EXPORTING PRODUCTS

  • From your Shopify admin, click on PRODUCTS in the sidebar and then click the EXPORT button near the top of the page.
  • Select ALL PRODUCTS and PLAIN CSV FILE and then click the EXPORT PRODUCTS button.

 

EXPORTING INVENTORY LEVELS

  • From your Shopify admin, click on PRODUCTS>INVENTORY in the sidebar and then click the EXPORT button near the top of the page.
  • Select ALL QUANTITY TYPES and ALL VARIANTS and PLAIN CSV FILE and then click the EXPORT VARIANTS button.

 

EXPORTING YOUR CONTACTS

  • From your Shopify admin, click on CUSTOMERS in the sidebar and then click the EXPORT button near the top of the page.
  • Select ALL CUSTOMERS, check the boxes for any additional fields to include, and select PLAIN CSV FILE and then click the EXPORT CUSTOMERS button.

 

Shopify may start downloads immediately, or may send you an email with links to download your exports. Often, your products will be multiple files.

 

Once you have all of these, send them to Comic Shop Assistant via email or a google drive/dropbox link. When sharing those links, please share to comicshopassistant@gmail.com
