If your site has an active emails module, you can send a handful of transactional messages to your customers. Emails you can send include
- Receipts (can be sent automatically or manually from a completed invoice)
- Pull reports (from a customer's PULLS tab)
- Last chance to save your subscription messages
- Strike file messages
But before you can do any of this, you have to set up your email settings.
To configure your email settings, go to SETTINGS > COMMUNICATIONS.
You must enter a valid emailHeaderImage, and fromEmailAddress as well as have your sendCustomerCommunications set to YES.
If you want to automatically send receipts, you can turn on the sendEmailReceipts setting.
Be sure to go through the rest of the settings to configure the text you want to send to your customers. You can see how these text blurbs are used by sending an email while the system is in test mode.
Your emails start in test mode, which means anything CSA sends will go to to the address you have defined in COMMUNICATIONS > testEmailAddress. Once you've configured and tested your system, you can start sending to your customers by changing the COMMUNICATIONS > emailTestMode
