An item can be set to ignore low-stock warnings, and to not reduce inventory when sold. Why would you do this? Maybe you have something that just isn't practical to track on a granular level. In our shop, we have bags and boards set to infinite inventory, and just do periodic orders when we run low.

 

To set an item to infinite quantity, search for the item, and look for the infinity symbol in the pricing and inventory row.
