Once you've configured your email settings, you'll need to test your messages before turning off test mode.
Emails are sent for the following purposes
- Receipts (can be sent automatically or manually from a completed invoice)
- Pull reports (from a customer's PULLS tab)
- Last chance to save your subscription messages
- Strike file messages
Here's how you can test each one of these types of email.
RECEIPTS
From a completed transaction, scroll to the bottom and click the EMAIL RECEIPT text.
PULL REPORTS
From a contact's PULLS>EMAILABLE tab, click the EMAIL PULLS button.
LAST CHANCE
From CON>CONTACTS search up a list of contacts. Find someone who has pulls in their file. Check the box next to their name, and from the drop menu at the top of the contacts list, select SEND LAST CHANCE EMAIL.
STRIKE FILE (destructive option)
From CON>CONTACTS search up a list of contacts. Find someone who has pulls in their file. Check the box next to their name, and from the drop menu at the top of the contacts list, select STRIKE FILE.
Keep in mind that STRIKE FILE will deactivate their account, cancel all holds and requests, put pulls back on the shelf and make a note that they've been a really terrible customer. So this action might be best performed on a fake customer that you've created.
