Comic Shop Assistant has a giant catalog of back issues pulled from the Grand Comics Database.

You can use this catalog to manage and sell your older comics.

A CSA back issue is something that cannot carry multiple copies of the inventory. Why? Because this 7.0 is different from that 7.0. So the CSA back issue inventory is basically a collectible that could potentially need a separate photo of another of the same issue. Does that make sense?

So an item that you received from a distributor that doesn't need to be graded or sold at variable prices based on condition does not NEED to be tracked as a back issue. That said, if you want to, and if it's in the CSA back issue catalog, you CAN track it there instead.
