Create an overstock location

 

We have a fast interface for moving items in and out of an overstock location.

 

  1. From your top navigation, click ITEMS > MANAGE OVERSTOCK
  2. You'll see three columns. The first column is ADD ITEMS TO OVERSTOCK
  3. First, select the overstock location you want to add items to.
  4. Then scan the barcodes you want to add to this overstock location. You have a few options for how these can be done.
    1. One per line. If you want to add four copies, scan the same barcode four times, each on a separate line. Example for adding 4 of the same and 1 of another item to your overstock:

    2. Or barcode, comma, quantity. So adding the same item 4 times on one line could look like:
      76194134182812311, 4
    3. You can also replace the barcode with a CSAITM code:
      CSAITM287358

    4. And you can mix and match these within one update. Like this:
      76281646951734711,3
      76194134182812311
      76194134182812311
      76194134182812311
      76194134182812311
      76194134182812311
      CSAITM287358

  5. Click ADD TO OVERSTOCK at the bottom of the form.
  6. You'll get a confirmation of all items that were added as well as list of any barcodes that CSA couldn't identify. You'll need to review those items and makes sure they have accurate barcodes or possibly add them manually through the overstock location contact page.
