Your customers can order comics from the time you load your FOC until your public FOC window closes.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO
In order for items to show up on your customer portal PREORDERS page, you have to load an FOC and assign it a correct date. Items that have a PORTAL STATUS of ACTIVE will display on the portal preorders page. You can also add an item that is not on an FOC (or one that is on a different FOC, but you still want to list here) by editing the item's PORTAL FOC DATE in the item's PORTAL tab.
You can decide when to stop offering PREORDER items on the public portal by editing your SETTINGS>CUSTOMER PORTAL>closePublicFOCTiming. This setting tells Comic Shop Assistant how many hours before the end of the day on the FOC deadline preorders should stop showing up on the customer portal. For example, an FOC date of Monday, and a closePublicFOCTiming setting of 36 hours, would deactivate the public preorders at noon on Sunday.
You can edit an item's PORTAL STATUS in bulk from an order by checking the boxes next to each item you want to activate, and selecting SET TO ACTIVE ON CUSTOMER PORTAL from the FOR EACH CHECKED ITEM drop menu at the top of the line item list.
You can also edit portal status in bulk from the ITMS>ITEMS page.
WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER CAN DO
Your customer can view items available on FOC, and subscribe or place special orders for specific issues.
They can sort a variety of ways and view in a cover gallery grid or in a line view.
