REVIEW VARIANT PRICING

Our shop has a system for guessing variant pricing at the time of initial or FOC import. We do this so that an employee doesn't accidentally pre-sell a variant at a price that wouldn't make sense to us. In order to streamline this process, we've built a fast way to let the system guess a price for the variants in an FOC or Initial order. You can adjust your automated pricing in your SETTINGS > PRICING.

  1. Click the magic wand above your search filters. This gives you a list of items that CSA believes are ratio variants. We are only working with medium good data from some distributors, so you need to carefully review this list to make sure it hasn't guessed incorrectly on any items.
  2. Review each line and make sure you're happy with the NEW PRICE field. I usually use command-F to search the page to make sure that no CVR A items have been incorrectly flagged as variants. I also search for "returnable," "allocated," and "unlockable," as all of these phrases can confuse the system and make CSA think it's looking at a ratio variant.
  3. Red lines mean the price is changing from what you already have in CSA. Green lines mean that no price change was automated, but you can still make an adjustment.
  4. When you're happy with your pricing click SUBMIT at the bottom of the page to confirm all of these prices.
